The Possibilities of Amy

The Possibilities of Amy - Jaye Frances I loved the possibilities of Amy. It's more of an inside a man's mind short story than anything else. Boys who see a pretty girl, runs after her because she is a trophy. Amy and her family never stays in one place. She's tired of having to restart her life over and over, and just when she is about to settle down, her dad gets relocated somewhere else and of course they had to follow. David fell inlove with her the first time she walked in the room. His friends had no idea, so like every other guy, they thought of her more as fresh meat.David believed that fate would let them be together. He imagines what it would be like to be with her and had never expected her to give him that chance. Well, I won't spoil the story since it is a short one but I just want to say that I really enjoyed this book. It was a fast read but it had a lot of cute movie-ish elements in it.I loved Amy's character cause it gives a nice insight on pretty girls. A lot of them are not stupid and gullible like what some guys think. There is always something beneath the beautiful exterior , and I do know that there are a lot of people who can be smart, deep and beautiful all the same time, and their flaws come from external factors like relationships or family. It's sad how David, years and years after he last saw Amy, still thought about her and how he somehow waits for her to meet him again.Worth reading? definitely. If you like it that's great, if not, well it isn't that long so you wouldn't really waste any time plus the writing is excellent so it won't be like reading-a-kids-diary moment for anyone.
